THE LOCATION NÖRVENICH IS PARTICULARLY SUITABLE

With about 11,000 inhabitants and an area of 66 km², the municipality of Nörvenich has a commuter surplus of more than 2,000 employed persons. Therefore, the primary goal is to create local jobs and apprentice positions, thus reducing the need for commuting (minimum job quota = one full-time job subject to social security contributions per 250 m² area).

This includes being amenable to the settlement of a broad mix of industries, which in turn stands for the demand for a wide variety of different professions and qualifications. Die Gemeinde Nörvenich ist Standort des Taktischen Luftwaffengeschwaders 31 „Boelcke“ mit dem Flugzeugmuster „Eurofighter“. Daneben fliegt hier ein EC 145 Rettungshubschrauber (SAR) und es findet Trainingsflugbetrieb der Bundespolizei mit Hubschraubern statt. Zudem ist Nörvenich Standort eines Drehfunkfeuers der Deutschen Flugsicherung GmbH.
Die Summe der Luftfahrtaktivitäten führt möglicherweise zu Höhenbeschränkungen im Bau, oft aber zu einer Einzelfallprüfung der luftverkehrlichen Belange. Lassen Sie sich davon nicht abschrecken, denn im Einzelfall werden Bauhöhen von 40 Metern möglich sein, aber es kommt auf den Einzelfall an. Bei geplanter Überschreitung einer Bauhöhe von 15 Metern, empfehlen wir, sich im Vorfeld Rat von einem luftverkehrlichen Gutachter einzuholen – dies kann viel Zeit im späteren behördlichen Beteiligungsprozess sparen. Eine Möglichkeit geeignete Gutachter zu finden, ist über die Internetseite der IHK (Sachgebiet 3300 Luftverkehr) gegeben.
